Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez knows Valencia still must sell - despite securing a £40 million loan this week.

The cash injection will go towards existing debts, but Valencia supremo Fernando Gomez admits the sale of their best players remains a must.

Benitez wants to bring David Silva to Anfield next season and is prepared to go as a high as £15 million for the star winger.

Valencia told Benitez £20 million two weeks ago, but he remains confident Silva's price will fall.
