Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is pleased to see Fernando Torres amongst the goals ahead of their Champions League date with Real Madrid.

"Maybe now we will see the very best of him and the goals he scored against Chelsea will have been very important for him and also for the team," Benitez told liverpoolfc.tv.

"He is training very well and working very hard and so we are very positive about him. If he is at his level then we know that he can be very important to us.

"He is desperate to do really well and I think he has the confidence to do it."
