Liverpool's Bosman deal for Standard Liege striker Milan Jovanovic is under threat.
The News of the World says Jovanovic, 28, announced in January he was moving to Anfield on a free Bosman transfer in the summer, but the deal still hasn't gone through.
No pre-contract has been signed following speculation about the future of manager Rafa Benitez, even though Jovanovic has undergone a medical and the Anfield boss thought he had the green light to proceed.
Benitez, asked for an update three months after a deal was believed to be agreed, said: "I won't talk about him now. We are working behind the scenes."
