Barcelona have told agents for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho that his transfer is no longer a priority.

Sport says Barca has informed Coutinho's camp that a move for the Brazilian has been 'parked' as they focus on other transfer targets.

Only if a deal falls through for PSG ace Marco Verratti will they seek to open talks with Liverpool for Coutinho.

It's also been revealed Coutinho rejected an approach from PSG at the end of last season, while Barca were quoted €90 million by Liverpool for the midfielder earlier this year.

Coutinho is aware of Barca's stand and is willing to wait to see how this summer's market develops.
