German whizkid Julian Brandt has signed a new two-year contract extension with Bayer Leverkusen.

The 21-year-old, a long-term target for Liverpool and Bayern Munich, has scored 24 goals in 126 league matches since joining Leverkusen from Wolfsburg in 2014.

"I see that something really big is growing here," the Germany international said in a statement.

"The recent contract extensions of Jonathan Tah and Lars Bender (both Germany internationals) have shown that. We want to win titles."
