Liverpool have tabled a bid for Atletico Madrid fullback Theo Hernandez.

But they apparently face an uphill battle to take Hernandez to Anfield with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris St-Germain all also said to have made their own offers for the defender.

The Reds are prepared to offer him a more lucrative deal, which could give them an advantage over the likes of Barca.

Hernandez, currently on-loan at Alaves, is reportedly set to meet with his agent in the "next few hours" to work out where his future lies.
