Liverpool are battling Real Madrid for Real Betis superkid Dani Ceballos.

Cadena Cope says the Reds have been reportedly leading the way for the £8.5million-rated winger, who is a Spanish Under-21 international.

Brendan Rodgers has seemed to be keen on signing Ceballos in a deal similar to that of Divock Origi, meaning he would be sent back to Betis on loan after they complete the deal.

Real Madrid are now thought to want to move quickly for Ceballos, as they look to secure one of Spanish football's greatest prospects.
