Liverpool battle RB Leipzig for SpVgg Unterhaching whiz Karim Adeyemi

Liverpool have expressed interest in German teen Karim Adeyemi.

The Daily Mail says the talented teenage striker has caught the eye with his performances for SpVgg Unterhaching U19s and for the national side.

The 16-year-old is left-footed, has pace and scores goals. He can play as a striker or on the wing.

Chelsea and Manchester City were among the clubs to make initial approaches while there was also interest from Juventus and Roma.

However, Liverpool and Red Bull Leipzig are understood to be the clubs that have persisted with Adeyemi and are pushing to sign him this summer.
