Liverpool and Barcelona are in contact with Lazio for Antonio Candreva.

Il Messaggero says Liverpool have been told to pay £25million for Lazio midfielder Candreva.

The attacking-minded star is thought to be a transfer target for the Reds and Barcelona ahead of a summer move.

But Lazio are hoping that the new price tag on his head will fend off potential suitors, given the fact he is already in the prime of his career at 28-years-old.

Candreva has eight goals to his name this season.
