Liverpool are back on the trail for AS Roma striker Fabio Borini.
The Sun says the Italian looked to have slipped through Brendan Rodgers' net when the Serie A outfit recently bought the striker outright after jointly owning him with Parma last season.
Yet though Borini, 21, signed a contract until 2016, the fact his ownership issue has now been simplified makes it easier for the Reds to negotiate a transfer.
Rodgers, who coached Borini as a Chelsea youth and during a 2011 loan spell at Swansea, could get his man with a £10million bid. Initial talks have been held with Roma.
