Liverpool attacker Lazar Markovic was booed by his own Sporting CP fans last night.

Markovic was booed by his own fans as Sporting Lisbon suffered a Champions League defeat to Borussia Dortmund.

The Serb was withdrawn by Jorge Jesus after 65 minutes in Tuesday's 2-1 defeat and, according to O Jogo, loud jeers could be heard as he left the pitch.

It will come as another blow for a player who has struggled to hit the heights that saw Liverpool part with over £20m to sign him from Benfica in 2014.
