Jurgen Klopp says Adam Lallana is not far away from a return to football.

The Liverpool midfielder hasn't featured for the Reds all season following a thigh injury he sustained during the preseason Audi Cup.

Lallana has flown out to Spain with his teammates asLiverpool's prepare for their clash with Sevilla on Tuesday.

Klopp said: "[Lallana] is getting nearer and nearer, but we need him for the rest of the season and not for the next weeks.

"He is really knocking on the door and it's fantastic that he is back. It's great."
