Liverpool attacker Craig Bellamy is set to sign for Cardiff City.

The Mirror says Bellamy is a target for Malky Mackay's club who have funds for a landmark signing - and also want to bring back their former hero after a difficult summer when they re-branded and changed their strips to red.

And Cardiff have come up with a deal to tempt Bellamy to join for a second stint - with the move set to be sealed and announced shortly.

Bellamy is on duty with Team GB but sources close to the deal reveal he will be a Cardiff player long before the start of the Championship season.
