Liverpool have jumped into the battle for Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi.
Icardi, after defeat to Sassuolo yesterday, raised the prospect of leaving Inter at the end of this season.
Don Balon says Atletico Madrid and Liverpool are interested in Icardi, with the Reds offering more than the Spanish giants. Liverpool have told Icardi they see him as their prime central striker, with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah to work either side of him in a three man attack.
Atletico, meanwhile, see him as a replacement for Antoine Griezmann.
Manchester United have also been offered Icardi by agent Mino Raiola, who is now working as an intermediary for the Argentine.
