Liverpool and Arsenal are being encouraged to move quickly for Hamburg midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu.
Bayer Leverkusen chief Michael Schade has revealed they've struck personal terms with the youngster.
However, Hamburg's sporting director Oliver Kreuzer has confirmed the interest of rivals Arsenal and Liverpool.
He told Bild, "We have had a lot of contact, Arsenal and Liverpool are interested."
