Liverpool, Arsenal target Jarvis admits Champions League ambitions

Wolves winger Matt Jarvis has welcomed rumours linking him with Arsenal and Liverpool this summer.

Jarvis has been linked to Arsenal, just like team-mate Kevin Doyle, in recent weeks. He admits the Champions League is an enticing place to be.

He told the Express & Star: "Obviously it's nice to see speculation when you're linked to big teams but you've just got to take it with a pinch of salt and concentrate on your own thing playing for Wolves.

"If you asked anyone playing Champions League football, winning titles and playing for their country - that's everyone's aim and I'm no different. That's the aim to play as high as you can and play for your country.

"It's not about money. It's the best cup competition. You play against the best teams in different countries and that's challenging yourself against the best players in the world - same as international football.

"You want to challenge yourself and I am sure every Premier League player is challenging themselves to be a better player. "Working up from Millwall has kept me hungry. When you see slight reward you want to work even harder.''
