The People says the price for Villa's unsettled England winger Downing is now £20m, as the managerless club dig their heels in.

Tottenham and Arsenal also fancy the former Boro wide man, but Liverpool want him badly.

Downing has so far baulked at attempts from Villa over new contract talks.
