Valencia's shunned midfielder David Albelda is attracting serious Premiership interest.

The Daily Star Sunday says Liverpool, Newcastle and Arsenal are all monitoring the fall-out between Valencia and Albelda.

If the midfielder is handed a release from his contract, he will be prevented from joining another Spanish club until the end of the season.
