Liverpool and Arsenal are battling for Lorient wing-back Raphael Guerreiro.

TMW says the 22-year-old full-back has an unusually impressive goalscoring record for a player in his position, scored 10 goals in 95 outings for the French club.

He is entering the final 12 months of his contract which makes him an attractive bargain buy this summer for Premier League clubs.

Arsenal are believed to be leading the race for his signature but Anfield's transfer chiefs, along with Paris Saint-Germain, are interested.
