Schalke are ready to send Ibrahim Afellay back to Barcelona.
Sport1 says there's little chance of Schalke signing permanently the Holland midfielder after injury problems and tension with club staff.
Afellay is admired in England, where Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with in the past.
