Liverpool could announce the signing of QPR striker Loic Remy today. The Mirror says Remy passed a medical on Wednesday night and has agreed a four-year, £80,000 a week contract.
He will be officially unveiled on Thursday in an £8.5million deal that is something of a coup for the Anfield club, after they triggered his clause with QPR.
That signing will be swiftly followed by an announcement that will see rising Spanish star Javier Manquillo arrive on an initial two-year loan deal from La Liga champions Atletico Madrid, although there's an agreement in place to make the move permanent for a fee of around £5m.
