Liverpool and Roma continue talks over Salah

Discussions between Liverpool and Roma over the transfer of Mohamad Salah are ongoing, according to Sky Sports.

Roma recently rejected an offer of £28m for the Egypt international and they have remained steadfast in their approach, demanding more than the £35m that Liverpool has now put forward.

Personal terms have reportedly already been agreed upon after Salah spoke with Reds manager Jurgen Klopp last week.

New sporting director, Monchi, has reiterated Roma's stubbornness. He declared publicly last week that his club would be the one setting the price for the 24-year old, not Liverpool.

Salah scored 15 goals in 31 Serie A appearances for the Giallorossi last season.
