Liverpool and Hertha Berlin are in talks to share their 125 year celebrations.
The Liverpool Echo says Liverpool will celebrate their 125th anniversary next year and Hertha Berlin want to join the party.
The Bundesliga outfit reach the same milestone in 2017 and they are hoping that Jurgen Klopp will mark it by agreeing to play friendly matches both home and away.
Hertha BSC want to entertain Liverpool at the Olympiastadion next July followed by a return match at Anfield.
Klopp is friends with Hertha's general manager Michael Preetz and last summer the Reds boss agreed to send young Brazilian midfielder Allan Rodrigues de Souza there on a season-long loan.
