The sandwich chain has signed a multi-year agreement with the Premier League leaders, its first sponsorship deal in the top tier, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. Subway will be entitled to a range of branding and promotional rights and will be the club's official training food partner.
Liverpool will assist Subway in its community initiatives to support healthy eating and active lifestyles.
Billy Hogan, the Liverpool chief commercial officer, said: "We're delighted to welcome the Subway brand as an official partner to Liverpool FC. We've worked closely with the Subway team over the last few weeks and have seen first-hand value they place on giving back to local communities."
