Liverpool ace Sadio Mane is backing teammate Mohamed Salah to become the best in the world.

Mane and Salah plundered 64 goals between them as they formed one of the most devastating frontlines in Europe alongside Roberto Firmino last season.

And the Senegal international thinks Salah can become the world's best player if he continues his upward trajectory under Jurgen Klopp.

Mane stated: "With Mo, our relationship is very good.

"We get along well on and off the pitch. We spend a lot of time together.

"I'm sure Mo has the qualities to become the best player in the world. In my eyes, he can win the Ballon d'Or, and I hope he does."
