Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard feels Arsenal's Jack Wilshere has everything to become a great midfielder.
The way he runs at the opposition, the direct manner in which he takes on and powers past players and the weight and intelligence of his passing has many Arsenal regulars believing he is even better than he was before serious ankle ligament damage brought a halt to his embryonic career.
Gerrard said: "He's got a bit of everything. He can tackle, get up and down the pitch, create a goal, score a goal and he can pass.
"He can tick almost every box and he's going to get better and better. He's only 21 and a fantastic talent. We're all delighted he's back.
"Sure, he's been frustrated at the amount of football he's missed. There's nothing worse than sitting out a year.
"So he wants to make up for lost time. But you have to give credit to Arsene Wenger for the way he has guided him back to top form.
"And he's going to get better and better. Now that IS a scary thought."
