Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has slammed Manchester United veteran Rio Ferdinand. Ferdinand claims England do "not have an identity", but Gerrard is having none of it.
"I'm not interested in what Rio has got to say about this group of players," said the England captain.
"This team does have an identity. We've a good team, some top players and I'm confident we can prove it this year."
