Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho could break a record today at Tottenham.

Coutinho will achieve a feat unmatched since John Barnes nearly three decades ago if he scores at Wembley on Sunday, says the Liverpool Echo.

No Liverpool player has scored in five consecutive games on the road since Kop icon Barnes in 1990.

Coutinho has hit a rich vein of form for Jurgen Klopp's side since putting the disappointment of missing out on a summer move to Barcelona behind him. He volleyed home Liverpool's second goal in this week's 7-0 mauling of Maribor.
