Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole feels he can make an England comeback with Harry Redknapp in charge.

Cole, on loan from ­Liverpool to French club Lille, clearly feels ready to join Tottenham boss Redknapp, his former West Ham United ­mentor, if he is in charge this summer.

He said: "Everything ­depends on the end to my season. I dream of it.

"With Fabio Capello, I played the first five games, then had a serious knee ­injury.

"He never called me back.

"Harry knows me, he knows what I am capable of. With him, we are going to pull off something in the Euros. We can even win it.

"We would have less chance with Capello."
