Liverpool ace Bellamy happy with two-goal blast against Newcastle

Liverpool attacker Craig Bellamy was delighted with his double in victory over Newcastle United.

Steven Gerrard also struck in the win.

Bellamy, who needed four stitches in a cut eye after an apparent elbow from Fabricio Coloccini, said: "I don't know why but I always seem to do well against Newcastle.

"I had a great time there under a great manager in Bobby Robson - but now they seem to be a lucky team for me.

"The most important thing was to get back to winning ways and it was a good victory."
