Liverpool accept Borussia Dortmund stance on Pulisic

Liverpool have given up their pursuit of signing Borussia Dortmund youngster Christian Pulisic, according to ESPN.

The Reds recently lodged a £11.1million bid for the USA international winger, but it was reportedly turned down by the Bundesliga club.

The Merseyside outfit seemed to have accepted Dortmund's stance on the 17-year-old and their unwillingness to sell this summer even though Kicker suggests BVB director Michael Zorc is willing to 'explore' the idea of a sale.

Pulisic joined Dortmund's academy during Jurgen Klopp's last season in charge of the German club and, due to his talent, he was fast-tracked to the club's senior squad.

Klopp's interest has not waned since he departed the Westfalenstadion but it appears as though Thomas Tuchel is in no mood to lose one of his most promising talents, especially on loan.
