Liverpool academy chief Alex Inglethorpe is delighted with the way manager Jurgen Klopp supports the club's young players.
Trent Alexander-Arnold's rise shows that the pathway from Kirkby to Melwood is clear.
"The manager has handled all the young players exceptionally well," Inglethorpe told the Liverpool Echo.
"He has a great way of dealing with the youngsters. He doesn't just talk a good game, he trusts them and puts them in.
"If you're good enough, he's not a respecter of age. He doesn't believe you have to have been around the block before you play for him.
"It's a completely different level of bravery when you are putting a teenager into a Champions League final. I don't think Trent or any of our other young players here could be led by a better man."
