Liverpool academy chief John Owens has confirmed Swedish youngster Astrit Ajdarevic has been trialling with Blackburn Rovers.

In his column for liverpoolfc.tv, Owens wrote: "As is the way with the Academy system players are always moving in and out, and in the past seven days Astrit Ajdarevic has gone on trial at Blackburn Rovers.

"He's a third year now and is unlikely to progress any further with Liverpool so he is looking elsewhere."
