Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard wants to win the Europa League.

The Reds will face FC Gomel in their qualifier this week.

"It'll be nice if we win it," he told liverpoolfc.com.

"It's another trophy for us and it's a wonderful trophy if you go all the way, but if we end up playing 16 or 17 games and then go out in the quarter-finals or last 16 it's worthless.

"We win it or it means nothing."
