Livermore insists Hull squad can handle Euro commitments

Hull City midfielder Jake Livermore insists the squad can handle their Europa League commitments.

Playing on a Thursday and Sunday would become the norm for Steve Bruce's side and bigger clubs than City have found it too much to take.

But Livermore told the Hull Daily Mail: "I really enjoyed it, I found it to be a great experience.

"People will say it can be a hindrance to your form and all the rest of it but we've got a young, fit squad who are well-equipped for it.

"I'm sure the manager will bring one or two more in and, with the squad that was already here, I'm sure we'll be okay.

"There were a lot of players here last season who didn't get the opportunities they might have done, but I saw day in and day out how strong the squad was.

"The more games we have, the more opportunities there are for the whole squad."
