Fabio Liverani has warned Palermo teammates not to take Livorno lightly this weekend.

The Rosanero currently sit in fourth place and go into the game as red-hot favourites.

"This week we have been inundated with praise, so now it is crucial we do not have a lapse in concentration against Livorno," said captain Liverani.

"They are third from bottom, are coming off a home defeat and many of our players are fresh from international duty.

"For all these reasons we are aware that Sunday's match will be the crossroads of the campaign and if we do not win, then the success in Turin will have been wasted.

"We do not feel that we are favourites for fourth place, as in particular I fear Juventus and Napoli, but we have the chance and the desire to achieve something important."
