Palermo midfielder Fabio Liverani insists they go into the Sicilian derby against Catania as favourites.

"We are better than Catania," Liverani told ANSA. "The League table says so and so do the players we have.

"Looking objectively, I can't fear the Etnei. We are aware of our own ability and we must win so that we can stay amongst the top teams.

"I'm hoping that the stadium will be full because I have great memories of the Juventus game when it was sold-out and there was a fantastic atmosphere."
