Fabio Liverani was beaming after Genoa's morale-boosting victory over Sampdoria.
Liverani celebrated his first ever Serie A victory by running on to the pitch to hug the players after Francesco Lodi curled in the third goal.
"My run? After two straight defeats, many difficulties and then a derby like this, at the 3-0 we all released some of that pent up tension. I don't think these scenes will be repeated ever again," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"The team was perfect, as we found the solution to early struggles down our right flank. I don't know how much tactics had to do with this change, as it was more a different attitude with everyone pressing the ball. The centre-forwards were exceptional tonight in their work for the team."
