Mexico coach Juan Carlos Osorio has dedicated Sunday's incredible win over Germany to the supporters and his backroom staff.

Hirving Lozano's first-half strike was the deciding factor at the Luzhniki Stadium, giving Mexico their first win over Germany in 11 attempts.

And speaking his post-match press conference, Osorio praised the support his team have received both externally and internally.

"We want to dedicate this great result to all the Mexican fans who have traveled here, the people behind the scenes who have helped in our work, and the people who have supported us," Osorio said.

"We will try to bring them joy."
