Arsenal Ladies midfielder Kim Little was named the inaugural winner of the Professional Footballers' Association Women's Player of the Year award. The 22-year-old has been a regular for her club since arriving from Hibernian six years ago.
The Scot was part of the British Olympic team that reached the quarter-finals of the London 2012 Olympics.
"For years I have watched this event on television so to come here and win the first award is fantastic," said Little.
"It was a great night for me."
