Former Liverpool star Jari Litmanen is keen to see Luis Suarez in the Champions League next season.
The Reds secured their return to Europe's premier competition on Sunday with their 3-2 victory at Norwich City.
Litmanen told Liverpoolfc.com: "He is a goalscoring machine and very-well known, not only now here in England but in the whole world.
"Personally, as a fan, I want all of the top players playing at the highest level - and Suarez is one of the most dangerous strikers in the world.
"He is a player who can create something from nothing and he is really, really important for Liverpool."
Litmanen was back at Anfield for Monday's 'Celebration of the 96' charity game in which a team of local Liverpool legends took on a squad of the Reds' former international stars.
