Leroy Lita may have played his last game for Reading after slamming his manager Steve Coppell.
"The gaffer has come out and said I didn't want to play at Spurs, which I wasn't happy with at all," Lita said. "I said to him if I am going to move on he might as well play the lads who are here because otherwise I will be cup-tied. I didn't say I didn't want to play. It was frustrating and a bit personal. I didn't like that."
Portsmouth and Middlesbrough have also expressed an interest in signing Lita since he fell out of favour at the Madejski Stadium.
"I spoke to the manager two months ago and he said if my agent wants to sort me out something better, he is not going to stand in my way," Lita said. "From then I haven't played."
