Former Juventus coach Marcello Lippi was always confident in the qualities of Antonio Conte.
"Antonio always had what was needed to become a Coach and, usually, central midfielders make the best Coaches," Lippi, who bossed the player during their time together in Turin, told Radio Anch'io Sport.
"I always thought that he could become a tactician for the way he applied himself in training. Gianluca Vialli could have done well too, but he quit too soon...
"Conte has great temperament. He was a leader as a player and he's transmitting what Juventus means to his players.
"Juve are not just grit and determination, though, they have organisation on the field of play. This Juve is very strong and that has always been a characteristic."
