Former Juventus coach Marcello Lippi is a big fan of Carlos Tevez. Lippi rates Tevez as being on the same level as Zinedine Zidane.
"The Apache is doing very well. This is a Tevez we've never seen before," Lippi told Tuttosport.
"Even at [Manchester] United, where he won the Champions League and the Intercontinental Cup. This year he is truly surprising everyone.
"He's playing so well that he puts me in mind of the best periods at Juventus, when the best players came to Juve.
"I'm thinking of Zidane, of Nedved, of Deschamps. Superstars on that level.
"I think Tevez has risen to the level of Zidane and the best Juventus players, simply because he has never been so decisive, and he's consistent too.
"So far this season he hasn't missed a beat. He's been the real leader of the Bianconeri. And that's why he's on the same path as Zidane."
