Former Juventus coach Marcello Lippi rates his old club as a Champions League favourite.

Juve kicked off the campaign this week with victory at Valencia.

"Juve are among the favourites for the Champions League this season," Lippi said on Radio Sportiva.

“They're in a group with Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

“Until last year they could enter that group, but they weren't there automatically. However, I think the other Italian teams are a bit more far away."
