Italy coach Marcello Lippi believes Ciro Ferrara can lead Juventus to Scudetto success.

Lippi said: "Ciro Ferrara can win the Scudetto, as he has a great squad and a fine club behind him. Ciro has intelligence, charisma and the ability to get the best out of others.

"When I was at Juve, I asked Ferrara and Paolo Montero to train the defence for half an hour while I worked on the midfield and attack.

"As for Inter, they have Samuel Eto'o, one of the best strikers in the world."
