England legend Gary Lineker says Manchester United's kids aren't good enough to beat Manchester City in their Carling Cup semifinal.
In his column for the Mail on Sunday, Lineker wrote: "There was a time when United's reserves would beat City comfortably but not any more. City are a different animal and their first team is stronger than United's second team, unquestionably.
"City also have one other bonus, Carlos Tevez. He has always been a streak player. When he's hot, he's hot. Unfortunately for United, Tevez is boiling at the moment.
"I won't go as far as saying you can't win anything with kids but it's City for me unless Sir Alex has a change of heart and puts in his big guns. It's too important to our history and heritage to let it decline."
