Joel Lindpere is determined to bring some silverware to New York Red Bulls after signing a new two-year deal with the club.
The Estonian midfielder signed on for a third and fourth MLS season last month and is hoping he can help guide the powerful, yet underachieving outfit to success in the North American domestic league after a frustrating 2011 campaign.
"I think from last year we can say we started good, in the middle we were not so good and in the end finished strong. We lost to the best team. I've said it many times, if we had beaten LA, we would have won.
"Now I think we can make it and we need to show we can make it," Lindpere added. "I think it's going to be an interesting two years for the fans, for me also.""If me as a player, if I don't see potential in this team, why should I sign a new contract?" Lindpere told MLSsoccer.com.
