Lindegaard urges Man Utd to tighten defence

Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard has urged his teammates to improve defensively.

The Red Devils have made a habit of conceding first this season before fighting back for victory with the first goal going to the opposition on no less than 13 occasions so far this campaign.

Following the weekend's come-from-behind 3-1 victory over QPR, Danish gloveman Lindegaard wants things to tighten up at the back after some vital errors in recent times.

"We should be concerned. It is a bad habit," said Lindegaard.

"We have to look at it. I just asked one of my team-mates afterwards, 'what would have happened if we hadn't conceded a goal?' it was like a wake-up call.

"It is a bad feeling to have conceded a goal in this match. It is very disappointing."
