Anders Lindegaard insists he wants to stay at Manchester United.
The Dane is now playing second fiddle to first-choice goalkeeper David De Gea.
Lindegaard told MUTV: "There is no substitute for being at Old Trafford in a match situation but this is better than nothing. So I enjoy playing games for the Reserves once in a while and it's good for the match practice to keep sharp.
"Of course [I will fight for my place]. Otherwise, I could just pack my bags and leave. It's all about pushing each other in all positions in the first team. I want David's place. At the moment is how it's always been when he's been playing. It's no different now to what it was a year ago."
